Penfield CSD Spirit Week and Homecoming
Next week is Penfield CSD Spirit Week and Homecoming!
Each day, all Penfield schools (students and staff) will take part in some fun activities and spirited dress!
Tuesday 9/7 – Penfield Pride Day
Load up on all the RED, BLACK and WHITE you have, and show your Penfield spirit!
Wednesday 9/8 – Character Day
Get into the spirit by dressing as your favorite animation, cartoon, or Disney character!
Thursday 9/9 – Pajama Day
Who said pajamas aren’t for school? Roll out of bed and rock your favorite comfy PJ’s!

ROOM PARENTS FOR 2021-2022
We are looking for room parents for the 2021-2022 school year.
Please consider being a Room Parent for your child’s class!

Room parents typically assist classroom teachers with things such as finding parent volunteers to help run or photograph class parties, organizing party supply donations, and managing class funds.
Also, throughout the year, room parents often are asked to forward emails from PTA committees to the classroom families.
The variety of activities with which room parents may be called upon to help will vary by grade level.

This week is staff appreciation week!
The Staff Appreciation Committee is asking all families do one, or both, of these things:
- Have your child(ren) send their classroom teacher, and one additional staff member of their choosing, a handmade card (or e-card) sometime between May 3rd and May 7th thanking them for their support this year.
- Ask your child to make a sign stating what they love about our Scribner staff. Take a picture of your child holding the sign and post it to social media using the hashtag #ScribnerTeachersWhoCare
