Make a Difference Day 2018

WHAT: Penfield Central School District Make a Difference Day
WHEN: Monday October 22nd-Friday October 26th
HOW: Bring in a non-perishable food item, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to stock the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf
WHERE: Scribner’s Bus Lobby
WHY: Because we are “Kids Who Care”

Suggested Items:

Mixed soups Baked Beans
Salad dressing Canned tuna and chicken
Mac and Cheese Coffee/Tea/Cocoa
Boxed Pasta Pancake mix
Canned Chili/beef stew Syrup
Jelly Canned fruit & vegetables
Oatmeal Bags of sugar
Canned Pasta Toothpaste
Pasta/Rice Toothbrushes
Pasta sauce Bags of flour

**Any items donated are much appreciated but this it the official wish list**

Photography Workshop

Grade 1-3: Monday, October 15th
Grade 4,5: Monday, October 22nd

Scribner Road PTA is excited to announce a FREE Photography Workshop presented by Lifetouch Photograph!

A photographer from Lifetouch Photography will be present with all the equipment necessary to teach students basic photography skills.

Each workshop will be open to the first 40 kids to register.
Registration will take place through the Scribner PTA website: scribnerroadpta.org beginning Monday, October 8th.

This program requires a minimum number of eight (8) parent volunteers per session in order to run.
Parent volunteer sign up will also be through the Scribner Road PTA website.

Yankee Candle Fall Fundraiser & Annual Check Writing Campaign ends Friday Sept. 28th

Hello Scribner Families!
Each school year Scribner families help support PTA fundraising efforts.

When you support PTA fundraising, you are contributing to some of your children’s programs here at Scribner.
This includes Educational Enrichment, Afterschool Club Activities, Family Activities, Arts in Education, Field trips and more!

Please consider participating this year in one of the following options:

Yankee Candle Fall Catalog Sale -Please return seal and return the large envelope into school.
PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE SALES TAX IN YOUR TOTAL.
OR
Check Writing Campaign. We would like to suggest $35 per family.
Of course, whatever works for your budget is greatly appreciated.
Checks are payable to Scribner Road PTA.
Place check in an envelope marked “PTA fundraiser”.
Send via backpack or to the Main Office.

Checks and Order forms are due Friday, Sept. 28th
