Annual Bottle & Can Drive – Fundraiser

A quick and easy way to return cans without getting all dirty while simultaneously contributing to a great cause – Scribner Rd. PTA

When you drop off your bottles and cans, just designate Scribner Road School as your donation destination.

Where: Can Kings Bottle and Can Redemption Center conveniently has 2 locations.

Hours of Business

• Monday – Saturday: 9am to 7pm
• Sunday: closed

RESPONSIBILITIES

Committee members work together to:

1. Reserve the Can King’s Trailer – this event has recently been added to the Earth Day Festival,
2. coordinate date and time with Earth Day Festival committee,
3. Create flyers and save the dates for e-news and social media.

JANUARY/FEBRUARY

1. Contact Zach at Can King’s to reserve the trailer.

2. Provide the School Secretary with a Planning Event Form to get the event added to School/District Calendars.

APRIL

1. Confirm with Can King’s the time and location of trailer drop off/pickup
2. After the event – contact Zach for a tally of donations.

JUNE

1. In early June, contact Zach to request a check for the total years’ payout. 
2. Once check is received, complete an Activity Proceeds Report and submit to the treasurer for year end reporting (Prior to June 30).
