The parent representative on the Shared Decision Making Team (SDM) works with teachers, administrators and another parent representative to explore factors that impact student achievement at Scribner Road Elementary.

Responsibilities

• attending two SDMT meetings a month, usually held before or after school depending on the availability of members from year to year.
• attending one PTA meeting a year to update Scribner parents on SDMT activities
• and to get parent input
• requires a two-year commitment
