The PTA Yearbook Committee and the Student Yearbook Club work hard each year publishing the Scribner Road Yearbook. Members of the Student Yearbook Club, which is open to any interested 5th grader, submit original drawings for the cover design. The club then s and chooses the cover and name for that year’s publication. This yearbook is available to all faculty, staff and students for a nominal cost. Pictures are submitted by parent volunteers, families, faculty and staff. Class composite portraits are included from the company chosen to provide student portraits. Fifth graders have several unique pages including DARE activities and “baby pictures”.
Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
- recruiting parent volunteer photographers for each class
- collecting photographs from volunteers and taking more as needed
- photographing special events
- planning yearbook page layout and design
- working with provided internet software to upload pictures into layout
- coordinating yearbook sales
- editing final publication
