Join the Rochester Fencing Club for a couple of stories and then practice fighting with pool noodles. Registration required. NUTCRACKER STORY TIME AND CRAFT Saturday, November 12, 11:00 am to 11:45 am For Ages 3-10 with an Adult A few friends from the Rochester City Ballet will appear in full costume to read the magical tale of Clara and her Nutcracker, act/dance out some of their roles, and will be available for questions and photos after the story. Then join us for a fun craft to go along with the Nutcracker theme! Registration opens Saturday, October 29 ROBOTS GALORE Saturday, November 12, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm For grades K-5 Join the Penfield High School Robotics Team to see a real robot and have a chance to play with some Ozobot robots too. Registration required and opens October 29. CHESS CLUB WITH THE ROCHESTER CHESS CENTER Mondays, November 14 and 28, 4:30pm to 5:30 pm For ages 8-14. All levels welcome! Join an expert to learn strategies and tips while playing against other players. Registration required. KIDS’ BOOK CLUB Thursday, November 17, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm For grades 3-5 Do you love to read? Here’s your chance to read and talk about a book with other kids. Fun activities too! This month’s selection will be Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein.
