Penfield AntiRacist Alliance (PARA) is holding 2nd Annual Black Kids Matter Celebration on September 11th from 10-12pm at Harris-Whalen Park’s Upper Pavilion.
This Back-to-School family event celebrates the Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) children and families in our community, uplifting and empowering their voices.
This FREE family-friendly event is geared toward kids 12 and under, but all are welcome.
Some of this year’s activities include: a drum circle, story time, sign making, and a short march.
We will follow CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID with masks and social distancing.
Your support is crucial to our efforts to have fun-filled, child-centered activities atour event. We would deeply appreciate your donation of materials and supplies: https://www.signupgenius.com/
